A Great Poll you might have missed

Before Thanksgiving, USC Dornsife/LA Times conducted a poll asking Californians their thoughts on public education today. The results were shocking. In both the LA Times blog and full length articles, the poll shows Californians tired of the failing public school system and a majority willing to pay higher taxes so our students receive the education they deserve. Moreover, over 50% of Californians believe that parents should play a serious role in changing the educational destiny of their child and supported the Parent Trigger law.

With over 50% of Californians support the right of parents to take back their schools and supporting a Parent Trigger law, this poll showed that despite the harassment, straw man arguments, and ad hominem attacks, Californians support the Parent Trigger law and are demanding the right to take back their schools. It’s time the status quo starts to listen.
