This summer, parents and voters in Los Angeles have an important opportunity to influence the direction of public education in our city and state.
Two absolutely critical positions are up for election this summer:
- Board Member from District 1, a key member of the Los Angeles School Board that controls the money that funds our schools and approves or denies projects that impact our kids for the rest of their lives.
- State Superintendent of Instruction, who decides what our children will be taught.
Come and hear directly from the candidates. Ask them questions. DECIDE WHO GETS YOUR VOTE.
Your knowledge is powerful!
Voter turn out in these elections is LOW! So your vote is CRUCIAL.
We hope to see you there!
If you can't make the forum, we still want the candidates to focus on what's important to you.
